Schoolboy hacked dead in Natore, 4 held

A schoolboy was hacked to death in Naldanga of Natore on Thursday midnight (March 28).

The deceased was known as Himel, a student of class nine.

Naldanga police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Monoruzzaman confirmed the matter.

Natore additional police super ATM Mainul Islam said the victim’s classmate Partho called him on Thursday afternoon. From then, Himel was missing. Later, police started investigation and recovered the body around 1:30am on Friday.

Following the incident, police detained four people including two classmates of Himel.
