4 killed in bus-private car collision in Bogura

Four people were killed and three others injured in a head-on-collision between a private car and a bus on Bogura-Naogaon highway at Erulia in Sadar upazila of Bogura district on Saturday (April 6) morning.

The incident took place around 10:15 am on Saturday (April 6) on Bogura-Nagaon regional highway in front of Erulia High School.

Three of the deceased were identified till filing this report and they were Alamgir Hossain, 42; joint general secretary of Bogura Motor Shramik Union Fain Hossain Mondol, 55, and Abdul Hannan, 44.

The accident occurred around 10:15 am when the bus crashed into the Naogaon-bound private car, leaving four people dead on the spot and two others injured, said Mizanur Rahman, sub-inspector (SI) of Sadar Police Station.

The injured were taken to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College and Hospital.
