Chuadanga records season’s highest temperature at 40.7°C

This year’s maximum temperature was recorded at 40.7 degrees Celsius in Chuadanga on Wednesday.

Chuadanga Weather Observatory Centre in-charge Jaminur Rahman confirmed the information adding that the temperature was recorded around 3pm.

Earlier, Chuadanga recorded 40.6 and 38.8 Degrees Celsius, respectively on Tuesday and Monday, he said.

People are experiencing the blistering heat as severe heat wave is sweeping over the district. Normal life is being disrupted due to the extreme heat across the district. No one is going out of the house without much need in the ongoing heatwave.
