People experiencing 41°C temperature in Pabna

People are experiencing the blistering heat as severe heat wave is sweeping over Pabna district. 

Normal life is being disrupted due to the extreme heat across the district. No one is going out of the house without much need in the ongoing heatwave.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 41 degree Celsius in Pabna on Friday noon, according to Bangladesh Meteorological Department. 

Earlier, Pabna recorded 39 and 40.5 degrees Celsius, respectively on Thursday and Wednesday, said Nazmul Haque, senior observer of Ishwardi Meteorological Office. 

Last year, Ishwardi upazila recorded the highest temperature at 43 degrees Celsius in Bangladesh, he added. 

People's lives are coming to almost standstill in the northern districts due to the very severe heatwave.
