A Bangladeshi was injured in a bullet fired from Myanmar.
The incident took place on Sunday (April 21) around 11:30 am in Shahpari Island area of Sabrang union under Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar.
Confirming the matter, Sabrang union parishad chairman Nur Hossain said the injured is a resident of Shahpari Island area.
However, his identity could not be known immediately.
Teknaf upazila parishad chairman Nurul Alam said, “We have heard that a resident of Shahpari Island area was injured in a bullet fired from Myanmar. He was admitted to a hospital with critical condition. Higher authority has been informed about the incident.”
