2 killed as tractor turns turtle in Madaripur

Two people were killed and two others injured after a tractor overturned at Pakhira area in Madaripur Sadar upazila on Monday (April 29) morning.

The accident took place around 8:30am.

The deceased were identified as tractor driver Enamul Hossain, 25 and his helper Arif Shikdar, 17.

According to police and local sources, Enamul and Arif went out with the tractor from the garage in the morning in order to join their daily activities but died on the spot after the tractor overturned.

Madaripur Sadar Model Police Station’s Officer-in-Charge (OC) AHM Salauddin confirmed the news and said that the bodies will be handed over to their families after the post mortem.
