4 arrested over Natore AL leader`s murder

Police arrested four people in connection with the murder of Awami League leader Manjur Rahman Manju.

The arrestees are – Md Sumon, 28, Liton, 44, Mohammad Tamal, 22, and Mohammad Rabiul, 44.

Lalpur police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nasim Ahmed said that Masud Rana, brother of the victim filed a murder case mentioning 16 names. Later, police arrested four people in the case.

Earlier on Tuesday night, miscreants shot Manju in his head and stomach and left the spot and left the spot, leaving him dead on the spot.
