Former MP Manu Majumdar passes away 

Former Member of Parliament and Netrakona district Awami League (AL) Vice-President Manu Majumdar has passed away.

He breathed his last in a hospital in India on Tuesday night (May 21).

Bhandan Biswas, Netrakona district Awami League vice-president, the brother of his wife confirmed the news.

He said Manu Majumdar became sick yesterday morning. Later, he was taken to Narayana Institute of Cardiac Science hospital by an air ambulance where he died under treatment around 2:30 am.
