Everest conqueror Babar Ali returns home

Babar Ali has returned home after his remarkable feat of summiting both Mount Everest and Lhotse.

He was warmly welcomed at the Shah Amanat International Airport by the people of Chittagong. Later, he arrived in his home in Nazumiahat village under Hathazari upazila around 11 pm on Tuesday.

In an immediate response at his village, Babar expressed his delight, stating, “I am proud”.

Farhan Zaman, head coordinator of Babar's Everest, said Babar Ali was scheduled to return home on June 3. But steps were taken to bring him home soon. So, he landed at Shah Amanat International Airport 9:30pm.
