BNP leader hacked dead in Kaliganj

A BNP leader named SM Imdadul Haq Aklu, 60, has allegedly been hacked dead in Kaliganj of Gazipur.

The incident took place on Friday morning in Nasu Market area of Moktarpur union of the upazila.

BNP leaders alleged that Awami League leaders beat him to death.

Imdadul Haq was son of late Habibur Rahman at Ramchandropur and president of no-6 ward unit of BNP.

Inspector of Kaliganj Thana Maruf Hossain said the body has been sent to hospital for autopsy.
