UPDF activist held with weapons in Khagrachhari

An activist of United People's Democratic Front (UPDF), has been detained with weapons in an operation in Khagrachhari, Chattogram Hill Tracts.

The deceased was known as Sujan Chakma, 45, son of Binanda Mohan Chakma, hailed from Bunia of Kabakhali union in Dighinala upazila.

He was arrested from Keyangghar para of Gulchhari union on Wednesday (September 11). Meanwhile, a locally made fire arms, two round bullets were seized from his possession.

Dighinala police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Nurul Haque confirmed the matter.
