Krishak Dal leader expelled for demanding money from Swechasebak League leader

A local Krishak Dal leader has been suspended for demanding Tk 2 lakh from a Swechasebak League leader in exchange for removing his name from a murder case in Lakshmipur.
The expelled Krishak Dal leader is Jasim Chowdhury, the member secretary of Bamni union Krishak Dal in Raipur upazila of the district.
The suspend news was confirmed through a press release signed by Zakir Hossain, joint secretary of Raipur upazila Krishak Dal, on Friday afternoon.
Earlier, on Wednesday (September 11), Jasim was showcaused by the party following the circulation of a viral audio recording.
In the recording, Jasim allegedly demanded Tk 2 lakh from Swechasebak League leader Litonto give him TK 2 lakh for removing Liton's name from an arms and murder case.
