AL leader Kazi Alim Uddin held at Dhaka airport

Police arrested Gazipur metropolitan Awami League leader Kazi Alim Uddin Buddin from Hazrat Shah Jalal International Airport on Sunday (September 15).

He was arrested by the immigration police while attempting to flee to Thailand.

Police sources said Kazi Alim Uddin Buddin tried to go to outside of the country through Dhaka airport around 9:30 am. Meanwhile, immigration police detained him and informed Gazipur Metropolitan police.

Confirming the matter, Gazipur Metropolitan Basan police station’s Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Jahangir Alam said the detainee will be produced before the court showing arrest in murder case.
