Unrest again in industrial area: Woman killed, 75 suspended

The workers of Mascot Garments Limited demonstrated on Tuesday demanding reopen of the closed factory at Ashulia in Savar. 

At this time they attacked two nearby factories in Jirabo area in the morning. A woman worker named Rokeya Begum was killed during the attack. 

The deceased was an assistant sewing machine operator of Mascot Garments.

Following the incident, a total of 75 workers have been suspended.
