Bandarban tourist centers reopen next week

Bandarban Deputy Commissioner Shah Mojahid Uddin has said there is a possibility of opening tourist centers in the district within next 7 to 10 days.
The Deputy Commissioner said this at a meeting with tourism stakeholders in the conference room of his office on Wednesday (October 30) morning. Two proposals were discussed in the meeting.
Tourists will be allowed to visit the district and enhanced security will be provided by law enforcement agencies to ensure the safety of tourists, he said.
On October 7, the local administration imposed a travel ban on the three Chattogram Hill Tracts districts, effective from October 8 to October 31, due to unavoidable circumstances.
