Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has said, "The Holy Prophet (PBUH) included women in the most risky work. He included women in the battlefield. So, we cannot stop them? They will dedicate themselves to the country according to their ability. We will not force them to dress. They can wear whatever they wish”.
The Jamaat Ameer said these while speaking as the chief guest at the party's workers' conference on the Satkhira Government Boys' High School ground on Saturday (November 30) afternoon.
He said, "Dark clouds have gathered over the nation, and vultures loom in the sky. We won't give them any chance".
He emphasized the commitment to building a corruption-free Bangladesh, ensuring justice for all, and achieving balanced development across the country.
Ameer outlined a vision for a prosperous nation where youth are empowered with education and employment, saying: "We want a system where education shapes good citizens, not criminals".
The party’s workers’ conference of Satkhira district was held after a long 17 years. A large number of leaders and workers of Jamaat joined the event.
Party’s Satkhira District Unit Ameer Shahidul Islam Mukul chaired the conference while central executive council member Mohammad Izzat Ullah, central organizing secretary Muhaddis Abdul Khalek, former MP Gazi Nazrul Islam, former District Ameer Muhaddis Rabiul Basar spoke, among others.
