2 killed in microbus-truck collision in Brahmanbaria

At least two people were killed and injured seven others in a head-on-collision between a truck a microbus on Dhaka-Sylhet highway on Wednesday morning (December 11).

The deceased were known as Fazilatunnessa, 75, wife of late Lutu Mia, Raisa, 11-month-old baby girl, daughter of Manik Mia.

Khatihata highway police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Margub Tawhid said that sand-laden a truck hit Sylhet-bound a microbus in Bargaria area of the highway, leaving the two people dead on the spot and injured 7 others.

The injured were sent to Madhabpur Sadar Hospital. Later, they were shifted to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital.
