Panchagarh temperature drops to 9°C

Everyday life of people in Panchagarh has become tougher as the Met office recorded lowest temperature of the country at 9 Degree Celsius in the district on Friday (December 13).
According to meteorological standards, temperatures ranging from 8 to 10 degrees Celsius signify a mild cold wave. A mild cold wave is currently blowing over Panchagarh.
Jitendra Nath Roy, senior weather observer at Tetulia weather station, said that the temperature has dropped by 3.6 degrees Celsius in a day. The humidity of the air was 99 percent at 6 am today. A mild cold wave is going on. The temperature may drop further.
Earlier on Thursday, the weather office in Tetulia upazila recorded 9 degree Celsius temperature in the district.
