BSF returns young man in Biral, BGB sends farmer

A Bangladeshi youth was beaten and taken away by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) while working in a field on the Biral border of Dinajpur.
In protest, some local Bangladeshis caught an Indian farmer and handed him over to the Bangladesh Border Guard (BGB) members.
The incident took place at around 10:30 am on Friday (January 24) in the area adjacent to the 323 main pillar of Dweepnagar village of Enayetpur BOP camp under Dharmapur union.
Later, a flag meeting was held between the members of BGB and BSF regarding this. After the meeting, the Bangladeshi youth and the Indian farmer were sent back to their respective countries in the afternoon.
The name of the Bangladeshi youth who was caught by the BSF members is Md. Alamin. He is the son of Riazuddin at Kaikuri village in Dharmapur union. On the other hand, the Indian citizen is Narayan Chandra Roy (45) of Purba Mollapara village under Kusumandi police station in South Dinajpur district of West Bengal.
