2 killed in Rajshahi motorcycle collision

Two people were killed and two were injured in a collision between two motorcycles in Rajshahi's Tanore upazila on Monday.

The incident occurred at around 3:00pm on Monday on the Tanore-Mundumala road in Devi Pur area of the upazila.

One of the deceased was identified as Zahid Alam, 45, son of Rafiqul Islam and a resident of Shiroil Colony neighborhood in the city. He served as a senior executive at US-Bangla Airlines stationed at Hazrat Shah Makhdum Airport in Rajshahi. The other victim was Md. Polash, 26, also a resident of the same area.

Tanore Police Station officer-in-charge Mizanur Rahman confirmed the matter.
