BSF takes away Bangladeshi farmer’s body in Chapainawabganj

Members of Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) took away the body of a Bangladeshi farmer, reportedly beating dead by the force on the Shibganj border in Chapainawabganj early Friday.
The incident took place at SS 2 of international pillar 10 and SS 4 of 10 on the Raghunathpur-Fatepur border in the upazila.
Which is about 250 yards inside Bangladesh from the international border, said Saidur Rahman, UP member of Ward No. 9 of Durlavpur union.
The deceased Barikul Islam (36) is the son of Setaur Rahman of Namojagonathpur Schoolchham village.
Chapainawabganj 53 BGB Commander Lieutenant Colonel Md. Monir-Uzzaman said, “We have no information about this. Besides, the family did not contact us. However, we are trying to receive information”.
