Anti-Discrimination Student Movement calls protest rally in Gazipur

The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement will hold a protest rally at Rajbari Field in Gazipur Sadar upazila in protest against the attack on students.
The central leaders of the platform will attend the rally at 11:00am.
Earlier around 4:00am today, the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement announced this programme through a post on its Facebook page.
In the post, the student platform said, “A massive protest rally will be held today (Saturday) protesting the attack by Awami terrorists from the Mozammel-Jahangir group on the organisers of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement in Gazipur.”
“The rally will be attended by students and people from across the country, along with central leaders,” the post said.
Around 9:00pm yesterday, a group of people carried out an attack on the residence of former liberation war affairs minister AKM Mozammel Haque in Gazipur. During the attack, some locals physically assaulted them, leaving at least 20 people injured.
The condition of three of the injured is critical, according to doctors.
