Operation Devil Hunt: 75 arrested in Gazipur

The ‘Operation Devil Hunt’, a drive of the joint forces, has been launched to maintain law and order across the country following the attack on students and common people in Gazipur on February 7.
Police arrested 75 people after conducting drives at different places in Gazipur. Of them, Gazipur Metropolitan Police Commissioner has arrested 35 people while district police arrested 40.
According to the media wing of Gazipur Metropolitan police, a total of 35 people, including yesterday’s 16, has been arrested. On the other hand, Gazipur district police arrested 40 people.
Gazipur Superintendent of Police Dr Chowdhury Md Jaber Sadek said, “The district police arrested 40 leaders and activists of the Awamil League during the ongoing Operation Devil Hunt.”
