Pahela Falgun, Valentine`s Day: Tourists throng beach 

Pahela Falgun, the first day of the spring season, is being celebrated today (February 14). The World Valentine’s Day is also being celebrated.

Tourists have flocked to the beach in Cox’s Bazar to celebrate the two occasions. 

Thousands of tourists from different parts of the country are enjoying the beauty of the beach with their loved ones on this day.

Cox’s Bazar is now buzzing with a stream of tourists as people have flocked to the beach city during the vacation. 

People involved in the tourism sector said already all hotels, motels, and cottages of Cox’s Bazar are booked. 

Sunny Shahriar, a Dhaka University student, said, “I have come to Cox's Bazar to spend the Valentine's Day in a special way. The waves of the sea and the people I love will make the day memorable."

Shawon and Sania, a newly-married couple, said, “We came here from Rajshahi.  Cox’s Bazar is such a place where the mind wants to visit again and again. The feeling is truly different. The wind and the sound of the waves have made us more romantic
