I’m not involved in activities of any political party: Asif Mahmu

Local Government Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan has said, “I am not involved in the activities of the new political party as I’m currently involved in government work.”

He said this while addressing reporters after a view exchange meeting at Muradnagar upazila of Cumilla on Thursday (February 27).

He said that all political parties, including the new one, should prioritize public welfare.

Adviser Asif Mahmud also said, "The final decision on the issue of local government elections before the national elections has not been made yet. The decision on the local government elections will be announced soon. Discussions are underway on the issue."
