7-year-old girl raped in Magura

A seven-year-old girl has been raped allegedly by her relative when she went to her sister’s house in Nijnanduali area of Magura district.
Police arrested Hitu Sheikh (50), the father-in-law of the victim's sister, as a suspect in the incident.
Sources said the child went to visit his sister's house four days ago. Hearing the screaming, neighbors rushed to the spot on Thursday morning (March 6) and found the child lying sick inside the house.
Later, the minor was taken to Magura 250-Bed Hospital and shifted to Faridpur Medical College Hospital for better treatment.
Confirming the matter, Magura Police Super Mina Mahmuda said details can be said later after investigation.
