Two killed in Narayanganj road crash

At least two people were killed when an oil-laden lorry rammed a motorcycle in Bandar upazila of Narayanganj on Thursday night (March 6).

The deceased were known as Shawon, son of Azizul Haque, Obaidullah, son of Yakub Mia.

Sub-inspector Motiur of highway police outpost said riding a motorcycle, three people were heading towards Muradpur from Madanpur of the upazila around 10:00pm. On the way, a lorry hit their bike, leaving two people dead on the spot and injured another one.

After the accident, police seized the lorry from the spot.
