BSF returns Bangladeshi youth`s body after 3 days

India's Border Security Force (BSF) returned the body of Bangladeshi national Al Amin, 36, who they shot dead at the Vitargar border area in Panchagarh three days ago.

BSF returned the body through the zero line on the Banglabandha border in Tetulia upazila on Tuesday (March 11) night.

India’s Rajganj police station Inspector Anupam Majumdar and Bangladesh’s Tetulia police station Sub-Inspector Naresh Chandra Das, BGB, BSF members, the victim’s father Suruj Mia and others attended during the formalities at the border.

Sources said that locals found Al Amin's body lying in a place called Bhatpara, approximately 160 yards inside India from Sub Pillar 7 of Border Pillar 744 under the jurisdiction of Nilphamari 56 BGB Battalion on Saturday (March 8). He was killed by members of India's 46th Bhatpara BSF Battalion.
