Child rape in Magura: DNA samples of three accused collected 

Samples of three male accused in the Magura child rape case have been collected for DNA test. 

DNA samples of three of the four accused have been collected as part of the investigation into the rape case. 

They were taken to the CID DNA Profiling Laboratory in Dhaka on Tuesday (March 11) morning. 

At the same time, the DNA sample of the victim child was also submitted. 

Magura Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Mirajul Islam said, “When the victim child was admitted to the Magura 250-bed hospital on Thursday, her DNA sample was collected immediately. One of the accused is a woman. Three male accused were sent to the Dhaka CID DNA Lab for DNA samples. Their samples have been collected. They are now in the Magura District Jail.”

The eight-year-old Magura rape victim is now receiving treatment at the ICU of Dhaka Combined Military Hospital.
