Man rapes 7-year-old with chocolate lure in N’ganj

A seven-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a man named Ibrahim Mia, 55, in Narayanganj's Rupganj on Thursday (March 13).

Police and local sources said the man raped the minor luring her with chocolate. Noticing the matter, a woman informed the local people. Meanwhile, the accused Ibrahim Mia fled the scene.

Rupganj upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) Saiful Islam said on information, police rushed to the spot and sent the victim to hospital.

Narayanganj’s assistant police super Mehedi Islam said the main accused will be brought to justice.
