Chief Adviser, UN chief arrive in Cox`s Bazar

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus and United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres arrived in Cox’s Bazar on Friday (March 14) to visit Rohingya camp.

A Biman flight carrying Prof Yunus and Guterres landed at Cox’s Bazar Airport at around 1:00 pm.

Meanwhile, the representatives of relevant government and private organizations welcomed them at the airport.

During his visit, the Chief Adviser and the UN Chief will visit several activities at the Rohingya camps. They will attend view exchange meeting with Rohingya community leaders and will join an Iftar.

Strict security measures have been taken across the Ukhiya Rahinga camp for their arrival.
