Bus-Truck collision kills 3 in Gopalganj

Three people were killed and at least 28 others injured in a head-on collision between a passenger bus and a truck on Dhaka-Khulna highway in Gopalganj on Thursday night (May 16).

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

The accident took place around 9:00 pm in Fukra area of Kashiani upazila.

Kashiani police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Khandaker Hafizur Rahman said that the accident took place when a Boleshwar Paribahan bus, en route to Chattogram from Mongla, collided with a speeding truck coming from the opposite direction in the area.
