BSF pushes in 22 persons over border in Habiganj

The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has pushed 22 individuals into Bangladesh through the Kalengar Debrabari border in Chunarughat upazila of Habiganj.

They were pushed into Bangladesh through the border on Thursday night (May 29). There are nine men and eight women and five children among them.

The people who were forced into Bangladesh said they were residents of Kurigram district in Bangladesh.

Confirming the matter, Habiganj BGB-55 Commander Lt. Col. Md Tanzilur Rahman said legal process is being taken in this regard.
