3 youths killed in Magura road crash

Three youths were killed when a passenger bus rammed their motorcycle in Abalpur area on Magura-Jhenaidah highway of Magura district on Sunday afternoon (June 1).

The deceased were known as Sajim Mollah, 20, Jisan Islam, 19, and Rabin Mia, 18.

Locals said that three youths were friends and returning home from their teachers residence. On the way to home, a bus hit their motorcycle in the area, leaving the three motorcycle riders dead on the spot.

Magura highway police station’s Sub-Inspector Siddhartha Majumdar confirmed the matter.
