3 of a family crushed under truck in Jhenaidah

Three of a family have been crushed under a truck in Shailkupa of Jhenaidah.

The incident took place at around 4:30pm on Thursday.

Officer-in-Charge of Shailkupa Thana Masum Khan confirmed the matter.

The deceased were identified as Mostafa Hossain, 38, son of late Babor Ali Mondol at Mailmari village of Shailkupa Thana, his wife Selina Khatun and son Mahin Hossain, 8. 
  
According to witnesses, Mostafa Hossain with his wife and son was going to Jhenaidah town by motorcycle. A truck ran over them in Ashannagar area, leaving Mostafa died on the spot.

Injured Selina and Mahin were taken to Jhenaidah Sadar Hospital where duty doctors declared them dead.

Their relatives said they were going to  Jhenaidah town for Eid shopping.
