No disagreement on holding election by April if reforms visible: Sarjis

Sarjis Alam, the chief organizer of the Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP) for the northern region, has said that there is no disagreement on holding the national election by April if reforms are visible.
The NPC leader made this comment while talking to reporters at Chowrangi intersection in Panchagarh town on Monday (June 9) afternoon.
Sarjis said, “If we see a visible judicial process, basic reforms are visible before us, reforms are needed in the judiciary, the law enforcement agencies, the Election Commission and if these are completed, we have no disagreement on holding the nation election in April. However, the reforms have to be confirmed before that.”NCP chief organizer for the southern region Hasnat Abdullah and sadar upazila branch coordinator Tanbirul Bari Nayan were present at the time.
Earlier, Sarjis exchanged post-Eid greetings with leaders, activists and supporters along with with Hasnat Abdullah.
