6 bodies recovered from Cox’s Bazar coast in 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, at least six bodies were recovered from the Cox’s Bazar coast on Monday.
Of these, three are tourists, one is a local resident, and the identities of the remaining two were not confirmed.
Cox's Bazar Sadar Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ilyas Khan said, “The bodies were floating in different parts of the sea.”
He said that the body of Rajib, son of Nazir Ahmed of Chattogram's DC Road area, was recovered from the Diabetes Point on the beach at around 1 am on Sunday.
He went missing after taking a bath at Seagull Point around 5 pm on that day.
Shahinur Rahman, a resident of Rajshahi, and his son Sifat were rescued from the Saimon Point on the beach around 2 pm on Monday and taken to the hospital, where the duty doctors declared them dead.
They took a bath together and were swept away by the current.
