Two killed in Sirajganj road crash

At least two people were killed and two others received injuries when a CNG-run auto rickshaw collided with a truck from backside in Mahipur area on Bogura-Nagarbari highway on Tuesday (June 10).

The deceased were known as Abdur Rauf, 50, son of Kismat Pramanik, and Trisha, 28, wife of Abdus Sattar.

Police and local sources said that the auto-rickshaw was coming from Pabna towards Sirajganj when it lost control and hit the truck from backside, leaving two passengers of the three-wheeler dead on the spot.

Hatikumrul Highway police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdur Rauf confirmed the matter.
