Bangladeshi shot dead by terrorists in Portugal

A young man from Sylhet was shot dead by unidentified terrorists at his business establishment in the Almada area in Lisbon, Portugal.

The deceased was identified as Mahbubul Alam, son of Nanna Mia, hailed from Manik Kona village of Fenchuganj.

Family sources said Mahbubul had been living with his family in Lisbon, Portugal, for the past few years. On Friday evening, a group of terrorists attacked his business place. Meanwhile, the terrorists tried to loot the business establishment. At one stage, the victim tried to stop them and the attackers opened fire aiming him, leaving him bullet injured.

Later, he was taken to hospital where duty doctor declared him dead.

Fenchuganj union parishad chairman Abzal Hossain confirmed the matter.
