2 dengue patients die, 65 infected in Barguna in 24 hours

Dengue claimed two more lives and sent 65 people to hospitals in Barguna district in the 24 hours till Tuesday morning.
This raises this year’s death toll from the mosquito-borne disease to 17 and the total number of cases stood at 1,903 in the district, according to Tazkia Siddikah, resident medical officer of Barguna General Hospital.
A farmer named Badol, 50, passed away on way home from Barguna General Hospital and an ansar member named Joynal died on Monday night while undergoing treatment at Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital in Barishal.
Currently, 214 dengue patients are receiving treatment at the hospital.
