India pushes another 13 into Bangladesh through Khagrachari

13 more people including women and children were pushed into Bangladesh allegedly by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) through Khagrachhari border on Thursday morning (June 19).
They took shelter in a local primary school in Dipipara Achalang area.
Khagrachhari deputy commissioner (DC) ABM Iftekharul Islam Khandakar confirmed the matter.
He said that on Wednesday night, the Indian BSF forcibly pushed 13 people into Bangladesh through the border in Tanakkapara area of Taindong union in Matiranga. Upon receiving the information, the Jamini Para BGB zone and police took them into custody for questioning in the morning.
This brings the total number of people pushed into the district by the BSF to 145.
