5 killed in Mymensingh road crash

At least five people were killed in a clash between a bus and a three-wheeler, locally known as Mahendra, in Phulpur of Mymensingh on Friday night.

The incident took place at around 8:45pm near Kuriar bridge on Mymensingh-Haluaghat road.

Officer-in-Charge of Phulpur Thana Md Abdul Hadi confirmed the matter.

According to locals, a Dhaka-bound bus of Shaymoli Paribahan hit the three-wheeler, leaving three dead on the spot.

Later, locals torched the bus.
