Shamim Osman`s 2 plots seized, 29 bank accounts frozen

A court in Dhaka has ordered the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to seize two plots of former lawmaker from Narayanganj-4 constituency Shamim Osman.

The court also ordered to freeze 29 bank accounts of him, his wife Salma Osman, their son Imtinan Osman, their daughter Labiba Zoha Angona and their beneficiaries over corruption allegations against them.

Judge Md Zakir Hossain of the Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge's Court passed the order on Sunday (June 22).

ACC Deputy Director Tanzir Ahmed (public relations) confirmed the matter.
