BSF pushes 19 more people through Sylhet borders

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) reportedly pushed 19 individuals into Bangladesh through the Sylhet border in the early hours of Tuesday (June 25).

They were sent through Kendri village of the upazila around 5 am. Later, Border Guard Bangladesh members detained the intruders.

BGB-45 sources said that the members of the Minatila BOP patrol team detained the people. The detainees admitted during interrogation that they were Bangladeshi citizens.

BGB Commander Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Nazmul Haque confirmed the matter.
