Pen-down strike goes on for third day in Benapole

The pen-down strike by officials and employees of Benapole customs continues for the third consecutive day on Wednesday (June 25).
They are observing the strike demanding the removal of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) Chairman Md Abdur Rahman Khan.
As a result, revenue sector operations has been disrupted.
Customs officials said that as per the center's instructions, the pen-down is being observed today from 12 noon to 5 pm.
Mamun Kabir Tarafdar, Deputy Director of Benapole Port said international passenger services are going on as usual through the port.
