Islami Andolan’s rally begins at Suhrawardy Udyan

Islami Andolan is holding a grand rally at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital to press home their three-point demands.

The demands include holding elections on the basis of the system of proportional representation (PR) and trial of genocide.

The main programme began at 2PM though the formalities of the rally began at 10AM with a recitation from the Holy Quran.

Centering the rally, the party leaders and supporters have been gathering at the rally venue since Saturday morning.

Islami Andolon Bangladesh (IAB) Ameer Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim, popularly known as Charmonai Pir, is present as chief guest.
