3 members of a family murdered in Cumilla

Three members of a family were brutally murdered in Bangra Bazar area of Cumilla's Muradnagar upazila on Thursday morning (July 3).

The deceased were known as Rubi, Rassel, and Jonaki.

Confirming the matter, Bangra Bazar police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mahfuzur Rahman said that on information, we rushed to the spot and found the three bodies. It is initially believed that they were killed in a mass beating.

Multiple police teams are working at the scene. Additional police have been deployed in the area, the OC added.
