SI closed for `taking bribe` in Feni

A sub-inspector of Parashurama Model police station in Feni has been closed to police lines on the charge of taking bribe.

The closed SI is Abu Sayed.

Confirming the matter, Md. Nurul Hakim, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Parashuram Model Police Station said the image of the police administration has been tarnished after the video went viral. Initially, an investigation has been taken against him. If the allegations are proven, departmental action will be taken.

Following the issue, the SI Abu Sayed claimed that he did not take any bribe.
