3 killed, 10 injured in Pabna road crash

Three people were killed and 10 others were injured when a bus and truck collided head-on in Santhia upazila of Pabna on Friday (July 4).

Primarily two of the victims were identified as Abed Ali, 38, son of late Hashem Mollah, and Monsur Ali, 40, son of late Yead Ali.

The accident took place around 5:30 pm on Dhaka-Pabna highway, Madhabpur highway police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mostafizur Rahman confirmed the information.

Police said that the passenger bus from Narayanganj collided with a stone-laden truck from the opposite direction, leaving three passengers of the bus dead on the spot. Later, on information, police rushed to the spot and sent the injured to hospital.
