Chattogram bus plunge leaves two dead

Two people were killed and six others injured as a bus plunged into a road side ditch on Chattogram-Cox’s Bazar highway at Chakaria upazila, Chattogram early Friday (July 4).

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

The accident took place in Goyalmara area of Harbang union around 12:00 am.

Chakaria fire service Officer-in-Charge Md Selim Uddin said that Cox’s Bazar bound a passenger bus skidded off the road and fell into a roadside ditch, leaving two people dead and injured others.

Later, on information Chiringa highway police, fire service, and locals rescued the injured people and sent to Chakaria upazila health complex.
